Job summary

Kansas City, MO-based Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) needed for fast-paced perioperative team. Full-time day or night shifts with twelve-hour blocks, a $70,700–$99,800 annual salary, and generous sign-on and relocation options.

Position emphasizes safety, teamwork, and surgical excellence in a nationally recognized facility. Responsibilities include circulating and scrubbing, perioperative education, instrument prep, and collaboration with surgeons and anesthesia.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Missouri or compact state.
• Nursing Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing.
• Minimum 1 year of operating room RN experience (scrub and/or circulate).
• Current BLS certification (AHA or Red Cross).

Responsibilities

• Circulate and scrub for surgeries across service lines.
• Assess patients before surgery and educate patients and families.
• Prepare the OR and verify instruments, equipment and supplies.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia, and techs for smooth operations.
• Monitor patients intraoperatively and document care.
• Maintain sterile field and follow infection prevention standards.
• Participate in pre-op and post-op briefings and debriefings.
• Demonstrate leadership and evidence-based perioperative care.
