Live Well Homecare is seeking an experienced perioperative registered nurse to provide direct patient care in the operating room, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation according to nursing standards.

You will educate patients and families about surgical procedures, collaborate with surgeons and physicians, and participate in safety, quality, and professional development activities in a fast-paced Missouri environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Demonstrate competence in scrubbing and/or circulating for various surgical services, ensuring safety and proper setup of instruments and supplies.
• Maintain patient safety by preventing adverse events and observing for complications during procedures.
• Participate in safety, quality, and regulatory compliance activities, including professional development and mentoring new staff.

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum of a Nursing Diploma or Associate's degree and 2-5 years of OR nursing experience.
• Current RN license; preferred qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, CNOR certification, and completion of Periop 101 training.
