Job summary

A local healthcare facility in Nebraska is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide safe, effective, and quality patient-family centered care in the OR and other perioperative services. Responsibilities include assessing patients, developing care plans, and documenting nursing care. Ideal candidates will possess an associate degree in nursing and various certifications, including BLS and ACLS. A generous sign-on bonus of up to $10,000 is offered for qualified applicants.

Qualifications

• Associate degree (or higher) in nursing.
• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current registered nurse licensure in state of employment.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification, depending on patient population.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote the mission, vision, and values of the organization.
• Assess patients at intervals as stated in policies and procedures.
• Develop an individualized perioperative patient plan of care.
• Implement the plan of care.
• Evaluate the patient’s progress toward attaining outcomes.
• Transfer care as applicable.

• Document nursing care accurately, completely, and legibly.
