Job summary

Qualifications

• RN license/registration required
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher
• BLS/CPR certification within 90 days of start date

Responsibilities

• Assess and prepare patients for surgery
• Educate patients and families about procedures and recovery
• Manage preoperative medications and IV therapy
• Perform perioperative nursing tasks and site verification
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists and OR staff
• Monitor patient condition and document changes during shift
• Provide evidence-based care and participate in continuous improvement initiatives
