Job summary

Memorial Hermann Health System in Houston, TX seeks experienced registered nurses to join our inpatient nursing teams. Hours are 0630–1900 with call on a rotational basis and holidays on a rotation schedule; OR experience with robots is preferred.

You will work with an interdisciplinary team, perform nursing assessments, assist with exams and treatments, educate patients, and maintain medical records. Texas RN license and BLS are required; experience levels range from RN I to RN IV.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing; Bachelors of Nursing preferred.
Current State of Texas nursing license or temporary/compact license.
Basic Life Support (BLS) cert; additional certifications may be required by unit.

Responsibilities

Delivers safe and appropriate care to patients according to nursing skills and patient needs.
Coordinates nursing care with an interdisciplinary team and makes clinical decisions.
Collaborates with the healthcare team to achieve patient outcomes based on evidence and standards.
Coordinates treatment plans; develops discharge and transfer plans.
Participates in program evaluation, process improvement, and ensures patient-centered care.
Maintains service quality and adheres to policies within budget and safety requirements.
