Qualifications

Responsibilities

MASC Medical is working with a hospital group hiring experienced Operating Room RNs for full-time opportunities with a respected nonprofit healthcare system in Naples, Florida.

This is an opportunity to join an established surgical team in a growing hospital environment with advanced technology, experienced clinical support, and a wide variety of procedures. Multiple openings and schedules are available, including night and variable shifts.

What You’ll Do

• Provide direct nursing care throughout the perioperative process
  
• Prepare patients and operating rooms for surgical procedures
  
• Perform circulating responsibilities while maintaining a safe, sterile environment
  
• Complete surgical counts and required perioperative documentation
  
• Anticipate the needs of surgeons and other members of the surgical team
  
• Monitor patients and respond quickly to changes in condition
  
• Coordinate care with surgeons, anesthesia providers, surgical technologists, and support staff
  
• Follow infection-prevention, medication-safety, and patient-identification standards
  
• Participate in on-call, weekend, and holiday coverage based on department needs
  

What We’re Looking For

• Current Florida RN license or a multistate compact RN license
  
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  
• At least one year of recent Operating Room RN experience
  
• Strong circulating experience
  
• Knowledge of surgical procedures, sterile technique, and perioperative safety standards
  
• Ability to remain organized and composed in a fast-paced surgical environment
  
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
  
• BSN and CNOR certification are preferred but not required
