Job summary

Qualifications

• Current RN license by state requirements.
• One year RN experience in an applicable care setting (General, Urology, GYN) is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
• Experience working in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise the surgical team in all aspects of OR activities to ensure optimal perioperative nursing care.
• May scrub in as needed and advocate for the patient.
• Support nursing care across the Mayo Nursing Care Model and ensure effective planning, implementation and evaluation of care.
• Demonstrate leadership and mentoring as part of quality improvement efforts.
