HCA Healthcare Summerville Hospital is seeking an OR PRN RN CALL ONLY to join our surgical team in Summerville, SC. This on-call role supports emergency, elective, and scheduled procedures with a focus on patient safety and exceptional perioperative care.

The RN will collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and staff to maintain sterile field, manage supplies, and ensure accurate patient counts and site verification. On-call shifts may include weeknights and weekends.

Formación

• Must be a graduate from an accredited school of Nursing with an Associate's Degree or higher.
• Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice or hold an active Multi-State license.
• Current BLS/HCP certification (AHA or Red Cross) required.
• Minimum 1 year of perioperative nursing experience.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in emergency and elective surgical cases.
• Collaborate with surgical team to ensure optimal patient care.
• Act as liaison between surgical team and patient families.
• Organize supplies and ensure sterile operating environment.
• Assess patients pre-, intra-, and post-operatively.
• Perform surgical counts and ensure correct site and side.
• Monitor patient conditions and balance fluids and electrolytes.
• Administer medications as ordered by physicians.
• Involve patient/family in post-operative care decisions.
