Memorial Hermann Surgery Center The Woodlands is seeking an Operating Room Registered Nurse for PRN shifts. The RN will position and prep patients, then circulate cases, ensuring patient safety and efficient workflow in the OR.

Ideal candidates have an RN license in Texas, 1+ year OR experience, and BLS/ACLS/PALS as required by the center. The role supports various specialties, contributing to high-quality, patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing.
• Active RN license in the state.
• BLS, ACLS, or PALS as required by the center.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience working as a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room.
• Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment.

Responsibilities

• Position the patient for surgical cases and ensure proper prep.
• Assist with circulating during procedures and maintain sterile technique.
• Support OR team with equipment and patient safety throughout cases.
• Experience in multiple specialties (Ortho, ENT, GI, GYN, Pain, Podiatry, General, Urology).

The Registered Nurse Operating Room provides nursing care and service during surgical cases. The Operating Room RN will be responsible for positioning the patient, prepping the patient, and circulating the case. Experienced in surgical procedures in the following specialties: Ortho, ENT, GI, GYN, Pain, Podiatry, General and Urology
