Job summary

Mercy is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care within the Mercy Nursing Conceptual Framework. You will apply nursing processes, coordinate across departments, and uphold patient rights and confidentiality from day one.

The ideal candidate holds an RN license in the hiring state or a compact license, with 1 year of OR experience and current BLS certification. Mercy supports ongoing education and clinical excellence.

Qualifications

• RN license required in the hiring state or compact licensure.
• Graduated from an approved school of nursing (ADN, Diploma, or BSN).
• Minimum 1 year operating room experience required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required; ACLS/ALS, PALS, and other unit certifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the Mercy Nursing Conceptual Framework and nursing process to provide patient care.
• Coordinates patient care in collaboration with other departments.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of information.
• Maintains professional accountability for the provision of nursing care.
