Job summary

SCA Health is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Operating Room. You will promote our mission, assess patient status, and develop perioperative plans as part of a multidisciplinary team. The role requires current RN licensure and OR experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• One year OR and/or medical/surgical nursing experience preferred.
• Current state nursing license to practice in good standing.
• BLS within 90 days of employment or documentation of current BLS certification.
• ACLS within 90 days of employment or documentation of current ACLS certification.
• PALS required when pediatric care is included in the facility scope of services within 90 days of employment or documentation of current PALS certification.
• Specialty certification in Perioperative Nursing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promote the mission, vision, and values of SCA Health.
• Assess patient status throughout the perioperative episode of care.
• Develop an individualized perioperative patient plan of care.
• Serve as a member of a multidisciplinary team in planning perioperative patient care.
