Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Fairview Hospital in Cleveland is seeking an experienced OR RN to join a Magnet-recognized team delivering world-class surgical care across cardiothoracic, vascular, orthopedic and more.

As an RN in the Operating Room, you will prep, scrub and circulate, ensure the OR is prepared and all instruments are ready, and support patient comfort before, during and after procedures. Shifts include days/evenings/nights/weekends.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (AND or BSN program).
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross.
• One year of RN experience OR completion of Cleveland Clinic’s Perioperative Residency Program.
• ACLS is preferred; if not held, must obtain within six months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in an operative setting to patients undergoing surgical or invasive procedures.
• Perform scrub and circulating functions.
• Prepare the OR, surgical instruments, and equipment for use.

Education

RN license (Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse)

BLS certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)

ACLS preferred

BSN preferred
