Job summary

USPI's Dunes Surgical Hospital is seeking an OR RN to provide perioperative patient care in a fast-paced environment. You will collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical staff to ensure safety and quality throughout the procedure.

The role requires graduation from an accredited program, current RN licensure, BLS, and strong communication skills. OR experience is preferred, and mentorship is available for new grads.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of accredited college or university.
• Registered Nurse with current state licensure.
• BLS Certification required.
• Excellent communication skills.
• OR experience preferred; mentorship program if no prior experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist anesthesia provider during induction, procedure, and emergence.
• Coordinate with surgeon and team to develop patient care plan.
• Ensure proper patient positioning and safety.
• Prepare surgical site per surgeon preference and policy.
• Maintain sterile field and instrument counts.
• Document patient care thoroughly and accurately.
