Job summary

United Surgical Partners International, Inc (USPI) is seeking an Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) to provide nursing care during surgery. Responsibilities include positioning, prepping, and circulating the patient, and delivering age-appropriate care in the OR according to nursing standards and Center policies.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing.
• Active RN license in PA.
• BLS, ACLS, or PALS required upon hire and within one year of hiring date.
• Ability to Scrub and Circulate as needed.
• One year experience required intra-operative setting.
• Demonstrates clinical competency, leadership, and teaching capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Position and prep patient for surgery.
• Circulate during surgical cases.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care for all ages in the OR.
• Communicate information to physicians, patients, family, and other staff.
• Participate in quality improvement audits and projects as designated by leadership.
