Job summary

Virtua Health in Burlington, NJ is seeking an Experienced OR Nurse to join our operating room team. The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care while coordinating with surgical staff to ensure patient safety and quality outcomes.

Requirements include an Associate’s Degree (Bachelor’s preferred), NJ RN license, CPR, ACLS, and PALS. Per Diem, part-time, first shift with on-site work and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Experience: 0-1 years required, 2-4 years’ experience preferred.
• License/Certification Required: New Jersey RN license, CPR for Healthcare Providers, ACLS, PALS.
• License/Certification Preferred: CNOR

Responsibilities

• The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the delivery of nursing care.
• The professional nurse assumes the responsibility and accountability for the appropriate delegation of patient care to other members of the health care team.
• Ability to communicate in English, both oral and written.
• Ability to handle confidential information.
• Ability to use problem solving, critical thinking, and priority setting skills.
