Job summary

Saint Peter’s Healthcare System in New Jersey is seeking an Operating Room RN per diem to join a Magnet-recognized team. The role focuses on collaborative nursing, accurate assessment, adherence to Standards of Care, and precise documentation while supporting patient care in the OR.

The ideal candidate holds NJ RN licensure, with preferred BSN and at least 1 year of experience, and must have BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN in New Jersey.
• 1 year of experience preferred.
• BSN preferred.
• BLS certification required by American Heart Association.

The Operating Room RN Per Diem will:

• Be a positive contributor to our collaborative nursing team
• Utilize excellent assessment skills to determine the health status of assigned patients as outlined in the Nursing Standards
• Ensure all procedures are performed based on established Standards of Care
• Administer medications and parenteral therapies in accordance with policy
• Meticulously document all aspects of patient care

Requirements:

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of New Jersey
• One (1) year of experience preferred
• BSN preferred
• BLS certification required, as approved by the American Heart Association

Salary Range: 56.00 - 56.00 USD
We offer competitive base rates that are determined by many factors, including job-related work experience, internal equity, and industry-specific market data. In addition to base salary, some positions may be eligible for clinical certification pay and shift differentials.
The salary range listed for exempt positions reflects full‑time compensation and will be prorated based on employment status.
