Job summary

Saint Peter's Health Care System in New Jersey is seeking an Operating Room RN to join our surgical team. You will participate in perioperative care, support a collaborative nursing environment, and ensure all procedures meet established Standards of Care during operative cases.

You will administer medications and parenteral therapies as policy and meticulously document every aspect of patient care, contributing to safe, high-quality outcomes for our diverse patient population.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN in New Jersey (state license).
• BSN preferred or must be obtained within three years of hire.
• BLS certification required (American Heart Association).

The Operating Room RN will:

• Be a positive contributor to our collaborative nursing team


• Utilize excellent assessment skills to determine the health status of assigned patients as outlined in the Nursing Standards


• Ensure all procedures are performed based on established Standards of Care


• Administer medications and parenteral therapies in accordance with policy


• Meticulously document all aspects of patient care

Requirements:

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of New Jersey


• BSN preferred or must be obtained within three (3) years of hire date


• BLS certification required, as approved by the American Heart Association

Salary Range:47.00 - 62.00 USD

We offer competitive base rates that are determined by many factors, including job-related work experience, internal equity, and industry-specific market data. In addition to base salary, some positions may be eligible for clinical certification pay and shift differentials.

The salary range listed for exempt positions reflects full-time compensation and will be prorated based on employment status.
