Job summary

The role emphasizes clinical judgment, care coordination, and collaboration with an interdisciplinary team. A Diploma/Associate RN is required, with BSN preferred; active Ohio license and ongoing professional development

Qualifications

• Associate/Diploma prepared RN from ACEN/CCNE/NLN CNEA accredited program with 2+ years of experience.
• If hired without BSN/MSN, must enroll within 1 year and complete within 5 years.
• Preferred: BSN or MSN from ACEN/CCNE/NLN CNEA accredited program.
• Active Ohio RN License; may require other state licensure.

Responsibilities

• Maintain understanding of regulatory requirements and accreditation standards; support leadership in compliance efforts.
• Support safety initiatives and communicate safety concerns to leadership.
• Demonstrate clinical judgement by collecting data, following protocols, and documenting care.
• Engage in clinical inquiry and performance review to improve practice and learning.
• Participate in shared governance and interdisciplinary team decisions at the point of care.
• Demonstrate interprofessional practice in daily routines and team interactions.
• Advocate for patients and families, considering cultural and ethical aspects in care.
