Job summary

Advocate Health in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Operating Room at Carolinas Medical Center. This full-time RN position offers a 36-hour week schedule in a Level 1 trauma center setting with a sign-on bonus for eligible applicants.

Responsibilities include coordinating patient care through the nursing process and delivering evidence-based, compassionate care. Must have a nursing program credential, RN license, and BLS certification; OR experience is strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the practicing state.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Previous Operating Room experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care.
• Lead with evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, and compassionate communication to ensure the safest patient environment and best patient experience.
