Houston Methodist is seeking an RN II to provide professional nursing care to a diverse patient population. The role includes nursing assessments, exams and treatments, patient education and maintenance of medical records.

The RN II collaborates with physicians and the interprofessional team to deliver compassionate, high-quality care, demonstrates clinical competence with medications and procedures, and may serve as charge nurse, preceptor, or in shared governance initiatives.

Qualifications

• Twelve months RN experience in a healthcare setting.
• Graduate of education program approved by credentialing body for required credential(s).
• RN Texas licensure with PCS/PSV compact eligibility and BLS certification.

Responsabilités

• Performs nursing assessments, assists with exams and treatments, and maintains medical records.
• Provides direct patient care and coordinates with physicians and interprofessional team.
• Leads unit initiatives, may serve as charge nurse or preceptor to students/new staff.
• Engages in patient advocacy and supports service line or hospital-wide improvements.
