Job summary

Qualifications

• Twelve months RN experience in a healthcare setting.
• Texas RN license required within 60 days (if establishing residency).
• BLS certification required (AHA).

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and perform nursing assessments.
• Collaborate with physicians and interprofessional health care team for plan of care.
• Lead unit initiatives; serve as charge nurse or preceptor to students or new staff.
• Maintain accurate medical records and provide patient education.
