Houston Methodist is seeking a Registered Nurse II to provide professional nursing care across a diverse patient population. You will perform assessments, assist with exams and treatment, educate patients, and maintain medical records while collaborating with physicians and the health care team.

The RN II demonstrates clinical competence in using technology, administering medications, and managing emergencies.

Formación

• Twelve months RN experience in a healthcare environment.
• Texas RN licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure within 60 days (if establishing Texas residency).
• Current BLS certification (and ACLS preferred) or instructor status.
• Demonstrated knowledge of nursing process, patient safety, and clinical governance.

Responsabilidades

• Provide professional nursing care and conduct assessments for diverse patient populations.
• Collaborate with physicians and interprofessional team to coordinate care and maintain patient rights.
• Demonstrate leadership by precepting students or new staff and participating in unit initiatives.
