Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Nursing (required).
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (preferred).
• Current and valid CA RN license is required.
• One year of OR experience (required).

Responsibilities

• Provide and detail direct and indirect patient care to ensure safety, comfort, hygiene and protection of patients.
• Educate patients on disease prevention and restorative measures.
• Coordinate medications and therapeutic agents needed for treatment or care.
• Perform skin tests, immunizations, phlebotomy, and initiate peripheral venous access.
• Observe signs and symptoms of illness and responses to treatments and medications.
• Assess and plan individualized patient care based on observations and procedures.
• Deliver care to patients from diverse cultural backgrounds and ensure safety in the environment.
