Job summary

Kelsey-Seybold Clinic is hiring an operating room RN to provide high-quality perioperative care across our Houston-affiliated facilities. You will work within a multi-specialty setting, collaborating with physicians, anesthesia, and OR staff to ensure safe patient experiences.

Requirements include an ASN or higher, Texas RN license, BLS, and at least 2 years in the OR. The role emphasizes teamwork, strict adherence to policies, and reliable transportation for on-site coverage.

Qualifications

• ASN or higher required.
• Texas RN license required.
• American Heart Association BLS required.
• 2+ years RN in Operating Room experience.
• Single service line experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Driver's license and reliable transportation required.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate proficiency in delivering high quality age-specific patient care.
• Develop effective working relationships with ASC and Clinic teams.
• Communicate patient information clearly to physicians, anesthesia, management, staff, patients, families, and visitors.
• Perform safe and competent operative nursing care per policy and procedures.
• Follow ASPAN/AORN standards for perioperative nursing care.
