Job summary

Novant Health Brunswick Medical Center in Bolivia, NC is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Operating Room. You will participate in hands-on training, orientation, and mentorship to deliver high-quality patient care in a dynamic OR setting.

The role requires one year of acute nursing experience, active RN licensure, and BLS. Expect a full-time schedule from 6:45 AM to 5:15 PM with a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for professional growth within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.
• One year of acute nursing experience required.
• Current RN licensure in appropriate state (NC).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates strong assessment skills to uncover patient needs and plan care.
• Collaborates with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team to set priorities.
• Acts as patient advocate while implementing care plans and educating patients.
• Administers medications and provides routine nursing care (IVs, dressings, CPR readiness).
• Continuously assesses progress and updates the care plan with the team.
