Job summary

Mena Regional Health System in Arkansas is seeking a full-time Operating Room Registered Nurse with call to join our perioperative team. You will provide professional patient care, assess needs, plan and implement care, and document responses to treatment in a fast-paced operating room setting.

Under the direction of the Nurse Manager, you may lead or serve as charge nurse, participate in health information systems, and ensure safety and high-quality care.

Qualifications

• RN provides professional patient care and works within the perioperative team.
• Ability to document observations and communicate effectively with staff.
• Welcomes opportunities to lead or charge when assigned.

Responsibilities

• Assesses patient needs, plans and implements care, and evaluates response to treatment.
• Manages activities in the therapeutic milieu and directs nursing care delivery.
• Documents on flow sheets and progress notes; participates in health information systems.
• May work as lead or charge nurse and participate in special events.
