Job summary

SCA Health is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Operating Room to join our 12-room, multi-specialty surgery center. This role offers an exceptional work-life balance with no nights, weekends, holidays, or on-call requirements.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• 1 year OR and/or medical/surgical nursing experience preferred.
• Current state nursing licensure to practice in good standing.
• BLS within 90 days of employment or documentation of current BLS.
• ACLS within 90 days of employment or documentation of current ACLS.
• PALS required if pediatric care is included within 90 days of employment.
• Perioperative Nursing certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promote the mission, vision, and values of SCA Health.
• Assess patient status throughout the perioperative episode of care.
• Develop an individualized perioperative plan of care.
• Serve as a member of a multidisciplinary team in planning perioperative patient care.
