Job summary

Intermountain Health Lutheran Hospital in Wheat Ridge, Colorado, is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN to join a fast-paced surgical team. The role carries accountability for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care in the OR.

You will collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and staff to ensure patient safety, efficiency, and high-quality outcomes, delivering evidence-based nursing in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice.
• BSN within four years if less than 12 months experience.
• BLS certification for healthcare providers.
• BSN required as of 04/27/2025; prior hires held previous requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assess physical, social, and psychological status and information from the care team.
• Plan individualized care and involve patient and family in education and referrals.
• Coordinate and direct care with the interdisciplinary team and resources.
• Evaluate outcomes, revise care plans, and document progress accurately.
• Maintain professionalism and comply with licensure, ethics, and regulations.
