Job summary

IU Health Fishers is seeking Registered Nurses for our Operating Room. A minimum of one year of RN experience is required; one year of OR experience is required. You will prepare the OR, manage instruments, and maintain a safe, sterile environment for every procedure.

You will work with surgeons, anesthesia staff, CSTs, and OR assistants, delivering focused, high-quality care. The unit emphasizes learning, mentorship, and a collaborative culture with opportunities to advance clinical expertise.

Qualifications

• ASN required; BSN preferred.
• RN license in Indiana or NLC.
• Graduate from nationally accredited nursing program.
• BLS certification (AHA).

Responsibilities

• Prepare the OR for procedures and ensure a sterile environment.
• Assist surgical teams and manage instruments.
• Provide high-quality patient care throughout procedures.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia staff, CSTs, and OR personnel.
