Job summary

The role requires a CA RN license, a BSN or MSN, and 2 years of OR experience with BLS certification. Preference for orthopedic surgery exposure, including total joint arthroplasty, and strong collaboration with the care team.

Qualifications

• Current valid California RN license, required.
• BSN or MSN, required.
• 2 years of operating room experience as an RN, required.
• Experience circulating and scrub nursing.
• BLS from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association, required.
• Orthopedic surgery experience, total joint arthroplasty preferred.
• Ability to develop and implement patient care plans with active involvement of patient and family.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to a group of patients using the nursing process.
• Engage in ethics, education, evidence-based practice, quality improvement and leadership activities.
• Collaborate with the health care team to ensure safety and high-quality care.
