Job summary

UCLA Health in Santa Monica is seeking a skilled registered nurse for our 3NW Orthopedics unit. You will provide comprehensive nursing care, supervise interventions, and guide staff to implement effective care plans.

Required California RN license, BSN or MSN, and 2 years Med Surg/Tele RN experience (Orthopedic experience preferred); BLS certification is mandatory. Transcripts must be provided at hire.

Qualifications

• Current valid California RN license, required.
• BSN or MSN, required.
• 2 years of Med Surg/Tele RN experience, required; Orthopedic RN experience, preferred.
• BLS from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association, required.
• Skill in implementing appropriate nursing interventions on a consistent basis.
• Ability to perform historical, physical and behavioral patient assessments.
• Ability to develop and implement and evaluate patient care plan actively involving patients, family, and staff.
• Official Transcripts and/or original diploma from a registered nursing program must be provided upon hire.
