Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• BLS certification required; RN license active and in the state(s) where providing services.

Responsibilities

• Engages in unit councils, governance, and quality initiatives to improve care processes.
• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care with patients and families.
• Monitors patient conditions, adjusts care plans, and collaborates with the care team to influence outcomes.
• Upholds a culture of safety.
• Maintains accurate, timely EHR documentation.
• May float to other units to meet patient care needs.
• Delegates appropriately to RNs, LPNs, and unlicensed personnel.
• Provides age-appropriate care and applies growth and development knowledge.
