Job summary

Adventist HealthCare is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for our Operating Room. You will educate patients and families, serve as a role model, and apply evidence-based practices to patient care.

The role requires professionalism, ANA standard adherence, and mentoring of staff in a faith-based health system. The schedule is full-time with day shifts; compensation ranges between $37.00 and $55.00 hourly, non-exempt under FLSA, with comprehensive benefits and opportunities for

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Passing NCLEX exam is required.
• Active Maryland nursing license and BLS certification required.
• ACLS, PALS, NRP as required by specialty area.
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Educate patients and families through the continuum of care.
• Serve as role model to Level I nurses and use electronic resources to support best practices.
• Demonstrate professionalism and adhere to ANA standards and Adventist HealthCare values.
• Develop care plans according to patient population and condition changes.
• Mentor students and team members in patient-centered care.
