Job summary

Trinity Health is accepting applications for an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse for a full-time, day shift position in our surgical services. The OR RN assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates patient care to ensure a safe environment for surgical patients.

The role requires graduation from an accredited nursing program and PA-state or compact licensure to practice as an RN. A valid driver’s license may be required depending on assignment and unit needs.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Valid RN licensure authorized by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing or a Compact State.
• Valid driver’s license where required by assignment.

Responsibilities

• Practice is guided by nursing process and policy/standards.
• Maintains focused area of expertise for care/program.
• Delivers care with collaboration and delegated responsibilities.
• Leads and mentors a small team, promoting learning and quality improvement.
• Provides safe, compassionate patient care in the surgical area.
