Job summary

Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic is seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse for a full-time role. The position involves conducting patient assessments, planning and delivering care in the surgical area, and maintaining a safe care environment within a Catholic health system.

The role may include leadership of a small team and mentoring responsibilities. Minimum qualifications include RN licensure by PA or a compact state; a BSN is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Valid RN licensure authorized by the PA State Board of Nursing or a Compact State.
• Valid driver’s license where required by assignment.
• BSN degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care in the surgical area.
• Maintains focused area of expertise for care/program and provides interventions or knowledge within niche areas.
• Advances professional governance, collaborates inter- & intra-professionally, delegates to others to advance care.
• May lead a small team and serve as a unit/service/program nursing practice mentor and identify learning needs.
• Assumes an expanded role and increased responsibility.
