Job summary

Prime Healthcare Services, at Pampa Regional Medical Center in Pampa, TX, is seeking an Operating Room RN for a 12-hour day shift (7:00am–7:00pm). This full-time role offers a $15,000 sign-on bonus and comprehensive benefits.

Responsibilities include preparing the OR, patient prep, documenting perioperative data, and maintaining infection control in a fast-paced surgical setting. Required are an active RN license, BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications, and perioperative experience.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN license.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications current or within required period.
• Minimum one year perioperative experience or on-the-job training.
• CNOR certification preferred.
• BSN degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the operating room, ensure the cleanliness of the environment, and confirm that all required equipment is functioning properly.
• Assist in preparing the patient for surgery, verify identity and surgical site, help position the patient, and complete pre-operative procedures.
• Document pertinent information before, during, and after the surgical procedure for the patient’s medical record.
• Maintain a safe and sterile environment in the OR by following infection control protocols.
