Job summary

Prime Healthcare Services is seeking a Medical Surgical Registered Nurse for Pampa Regional Medical Center in Pampa, TX. The Med-Surg RN provides care to patients recovering from surgery, managing acute and chronic conditions, and supporting diagnostic procedures.

This full-time day shift role offers a 12-hour schedule (7:00 am–7:00 pm) with a sign-on bonus and a strong benefits package including health, dental, vision, and 401(k).

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN license.
• Current BLS certification.
• Current ACLS certification within 30 days of hire and maintained.
• Previous Acute Care hospital experience preferred.
• Ventilator management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial assessments and ongoing evaluations of patients' physical, emotional, and mental health.
• Monitor vital signs, intake/output, and other clinical indicators to detect changes in patient conditions.
• Safely administer prescribed medications (oral, IV, subcutaneous, intramuscular) and monitor for adverse effects or allergic reactions.
• Act as a liaison between patients, families, and the healthcare team to ensure the patient's needs are met.
• Provide patient education on their condition, treatment options, and lifestyle adjustments to support recovery and prevent readmission.
