Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Akron General, part of the Cleveland Clinic Health System, is seeking an Experienced Registered Nurse for the Operating Room. You will scrub and circulate across service lines during orientation and may rotate on specialty call teams to gain proficiency.

Join a team focused on patient-centered care and family engagement. The role requires RN licensure, BLS certification, and related OR nursing experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (ADN or BSN).
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Annual mandatory clinical competencies.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
• Complete ongoing assessments and respond to changes in condition.
• Plan goals with patients and families and coordinate care.
• Administer treatments and medications and document meticulously.
• Participate in interdisciplinary evaluation and quality improvement.
