St. Peter's Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Operating Room (OR) on full-time day shift with call commitments. The RN will deliver comprehensive perioperative care, from assessment through planning and execution of the care plan, within the OR environment.

The role emphasizes leadership and collaboration, including supervision of staff, and requires NY RN licensure, BLS, and OR experience consideration. Strong communication skills are essential for patient- and team-centered care.

Formación

• Current NY RN license required.
• BLS certification required.
• 1 year OR experience preferred.
• Ability to assess, plan, direct, intervene and evaluate patient care.

Responsabilidades

• Assess patients' needs in the OR and plan nursing care.
• Lead and participate in implementing the planned care.
• Ensure the plan of care is followed and evaluated.
• Direct and supervise staff when in charge, including leadership tasks.
