Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Permanent OR Registered Nurse to join our hospital team in Texas. The role focuses on pre- and postoperative nursing care in a fast-paced operating room environment. You will administer medications, develop care plans, and educate patients and families on postoperative care and pain management.

The ideal candidate has a TX State RN License, at least 2 years of OR experience, and strong teamwork and communication skills. BLS/ACLS are preferred, with a nursing degree preferred.

Qualifications

• Must hold TX State RN License.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an RN, preferably in an operating room.
• BLS and ACLS certification preferred.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre and postoperative nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures.
• Administer medications as prescribed by physicians and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans for patients, considering their needs and goals.
• Educate patients and families about postoperative care, pain management, and potential complications.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Respond to emergencies promptly and maintain patient safety.
• Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with regulations and standards.
• Continually update clinical knowledge through professional development.
