Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a qualified Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) to join our surgical team in West Virginia. The role involves preoperative assessments, intraoperative care, and postoperative monitoring in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will have 2 years of OR experience, an active WV/Compact RN license, and ACLS/BLS/PALS certifications as required. You may float to day surgery, endoscopy, PACU, and holding areas as needed to support patient care.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience as an RN in an operating room setting.
• Current RN License (WV or Compact License required); pending license accepted for submission.
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, and PALS (if required by the unit), must be through the American Heart Association.
• Experience with surgical procedures and patient care in various specialties.
• Previous charge experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with surgical procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Prepare and maintain the operating room for various surgeries.
• Monitor patient vitals and respond to changes in condition.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure optimal patient care.
• Float to other clinical areas such as day surgery, endoscopy, PACU, and holding areas as needed.
