Job summary

Lakewood Ranch Medical Center in Bradenton, FL is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a full-time Operating Room position. The schedule is varied with 6:30a–5:00p shifts and call requirements; two or more years of RN experience may qualify for a $5,000 sign-on bonus.

Provides safe, competent nursing care within policy and scope, with patient-centered care as the foundation. Eligible candidates will have OR circulator experience and opportunities for professional growth and comprehensive

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program.
• Current BLS certification at time of hire.
• Active Florida nursing license (or Compact).
• ACLS certification required by start date for most units.
• PALS/NRP/NIH requirements by unit as applicable at start date.

Responsibilities

• Provides professional leadership and support to the healthcare team.
• RNs with 1 year acute care experience desiring to be trained into the OR.
• Delivers safe, competent nursing care in accordance with facility policies.
• Maintains effective communication and customer service with patients and families.
• Other duties as assigned.
