Job summary

The candidate must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program with a Michigan RN license, BLS, ACLS within six months, and ED-specific certifications within a year.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Experience in specialty area preferred.
• Current State of Michigan Registered Nurse license.
• BLS certification as Healthcare Provider.
• ACLS required within six months of hire.
• PALS, TNCC and ENPC within one year for Emergency Department.
• NRP within one year for the OB Department.

Responsibilities

• Assess each assigned patient, document and evaluate response to the plan of care.
• Plan and implement the patient’s plan of care and provide patient teaching.
• Oversee all ancillary personnel for technical tasks.
