Job summary

Requires a BSN or higher, Texas RN license (or temporary license with 90 days to obtain permanent), BLS, and at least 12 months of RN experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree or higher from an accredited School of Nursing.
• At least 12 months of registered nurse experience in a healthcare environment.
• Texas RN license or temporary TX RN license with the requirement to obtain a permanent license within 90 days
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS)
• ANCC certification in an applicable specialty area (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care and conduct nursing assessments.
• Assist with exams, treatment, and maintaining medical records.
• Collaborate with physicians and interprofessional care team to coordinate care.
• Participate in or lead unit initiatives and support education for students or new staff.
