Job summary

HiredFirst is seeking a dedicated Operating Room RN to join our surgical services team in Templeton, CA. You will provide perioperative nursing care, collaborate with surgeons and anesthesia teams, and ensure patient safety throughout the operative process.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state of California.
• Minimum six months of Operating Room nursing experience.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS and PALS certifications required within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive perioperative nursing care before, during, and after surgical procedures.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
• Function as a Scrub Technician when needed to support surgical procedures.
• Monitor patient safety, administer medications, and respond to emergencies.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with hospital standards.
