Job summary

Baptist Health Downtown is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Main OR in Jacksonville, FL. This full-time evening shift (11:00 AM–11:00 PM) includes on-call requirements with a 40-minute response time.

Responsibilities include patient care, education, and coordination with physicians and departments to ensure optimal outcomes. Qualified candidates have 1–2 years of Operating Room circulating nursing experience, BLS and ACLS, and an RN license with ASN or higher.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years operating room circulating nursing experience required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Licensed Registered Nurse in good standing.
• ASN in Nursing or equivalent degree required.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care for medical or surgical cases in the Main OR.
• Educate patients and families about disease and care plans.
• Collaborate with physicians and hospital teams daily.
• Coordinate care with ancillary services and advocate for patients.
• Participate in staff meetings and unit activities.
