Job summary

Novant Health's Rowan Medical Center is seeking an experienced OR Registered Nurse to circulate, position patients, and manage the operating room across a variety of procedures. This PRN role offers flexibility and the chance to contribute to high-quality, compassionate patient care.

The Rowan Medical Center is one of Novant Health's larger facilities, with a long-standing history in the Rowan County area since 1936.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Active RN licensure in the appropriate state.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
• At least 1 year OR experience preferred; 2 years strongly preferred.
• PRN eligible and able to react quickly to OR needs.

Responsibilities

• Circulating in the OR
• Patient positioning during surgery
• Ensure equipment is set up properly
• Managing the OR during surgery
• Understand procedures and equipment needs by the surgeon
