Job summary

Jefferson Health in Philadelphia seeks an Operating Room RN to provide specialized perioperative care within a fast-paced surgical unit. The role includes a potential Charge Nurse capacity about 1–2 times weekly, with additional compensation per department policy.

The nurse will develop individualized care plans with patients and care partners, ensuring family-centered, culturally sensitive care throughout the perioperative period.

Qualifications

• Specialized Diploma graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Knowledge of patient- and family-centered care practices.
• Cultural awareness and respect for diverse patient populations.
• Effective communication with patients, families, and staff; appropriate delegation.

Responsibilities
