Job summary

Jefferson Health in Philadelphia is seeking an experienced operating room registered nurse to join a leading health system across Greater Philadelphia. You will work with surgeons, anesthesia professionals, and inter-disciplinary teams to deliver safe perioperative care.

Ideal candidates hold a Pennsylvania RN license with BLS, OR experience, and strong communication and teamwork skills. BSN is preferred, with ongoing opportunities for education, advancement, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Current Pennsylvania RN license.
• American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Operating room nursing experience.
• BSN preferred; completion of BSN or advanced degree within three years of hire is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside surgeons, anesthesia professionals, and interdisciplinary teams to deliver safe, coordinated care throughout the surgical experience.
• Apply clinical judgment and support procedures within the RN scope of practice.

The Opportunity

As an OR registered nurse, you’ll work alongside surgeons, anesthesia professionals, and interdisciplinary teams to deliver safe, coordinated care throughout the surgical experience. You’ll apply clinical judgment, support procedures within the RN scope of practice, maintain accurate documentation, and help ensure each patient receives individualized care.

What You’ll Bring

• Current Pennsylvania RN license
• American Heart Association BLS certification
• Operating room nursing experience
• Strong clinical, communication, and teamwork skills
