Job summary

Cascade Surgicenter & Central Oregon Surgery Center in Bend, Oregon, is seeking a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room to join a high-quality care team. The role supports a culture of respect and exceptional patient care while offering a work-life balance in a Monday–Friday schedule.

The successful candidate will hold an Oregon nursing license, have BLS/ACLS certifications, and be capable of working independently within a team environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing and licensed to practice in Oregon.
• Minimum of one-year operating room experience preferred.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Must pass background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Performs assessment of patient for specific nursing care needed.
• Plans care to ensure patient safety.
• Directs and assists in carrying out safe aseptic techniques and procedures.
• Directs care of instruments, surgical supplies, sterilization, and storage of equipment.
• Assists anesthesiologists as needed.
• Performs scrub, gown and gloves duties for surgical team when applicable.
